Ella didn’t think she would ever get used to Lara not finding her intimidating in general let alone when she was a panther. Not that she minded having the arm wrap around her neck coupled with the nuzzle. Her eyes snapped open and as she turned to face her, Ella morphed back into herself. She stood beside the bed looking at Lara and could see all the bruises and marks left over the match, even the patch around her eye still looked sore.

“I’m awake. I haven’t slept since the match. Are you feeling any better?”
