Carmilla waited for Laura’s reaction on that, fully knowing what to expect. If it meant helping people she was there and if a double of herself needed help on the campus Carm expected Laura wouldn’t turn that down. Helping people was part of who she was after all. That and finding the truth which meant staying here until both of them found what they were meant to.

“Fine. I’ll agree to help you if you help us.” She left standing in front of Ell to head to Laura. “Where do you want us to go?” She thought it would be best if the two of them stuck together but somehow Carm had a feeling that they might have a to separate for a time.
