Carmilla caught Laura’s smile. It was the same wicked smile that made her feel utterly weak and what was worse was Laura knowing it had that effect. She fought against her command but knelt without hesitation, followed by the crawl. Mircalla itching to speak but completely frozen. Just when she thought she could start moving again, Laura reminded her to freeze.

Carm raised her eyebrow and looked at Laura. “Someone is abusing her new powers.” And with that she bent down and smiled at her double who was completely paralysed. “Being this quiet looks good on you Mircalla.”

When she finished gloating over not being frozen, Carm looked at Laura. “So one bite from me and you think you can command me huh?"
