“I threaten nightmares because I don’t like seeing me split into various versions in a memory Laura.” Mircalla snapped. She wanted to add the bit about Carmilla being crystal clear but biting her tongue helped to swallow back that envy.

Some of the anger partially lifted when Laura said she enjoyed it. Not a lot but enough to take the snap out of Mircalla’s words.

Her heartbeat still filling her ears, Mircalla smiled thinking back to how she used to love making Ell’s race. “Well you’ve had your body exhausted, there’s always time for your brain.” With that she flashed one of her darker smiles and tried to shift the room. Her intention was to rip away the walls and replace the scenery to a creation from her own memory but nothing changed. The fire behind still burned like a reflection of her emotion.

Mircalla found herself suddenly more aware of her surroundings.

She walked over to Laura, her innocence just adding to the attraction. “What have you done?” Her eyes narrowed. “I should be able to change your dreams and I’m locked in here? That’s impossible.” It might have been Mircalla was too mad too focus but the fact remained it would take a lot of power to be able to stop her. “You might not be human but you aren’t that powerful…Yet.”

She tried again, concentrating harder to materialise an object into the room. Nothing. A brief pause and Mircalla looked at Laura. “I enter your dreams, finally get you alone and you trap me here?” The only conclusion Mircalla could come to was that Laura brought Carmilla into this. Two of them would have been able to block her. It would also explain why Laura’s memories on the screen. Mircalla loved to play with Carm’s jealous at times.

“Oh..silly me for thinking you couldn’t be here without her following. Come out come out wherever you are Carmilla?”
