Laura nodded. "I suppose that's fair, Callis. LaF, Perry, Carm, do you think you could make something of the scroll? And Danny, could you look after Kirsch for me please?"

By now Danny was entirely convinced that Laura was Laura and not LaF, and Kirsch's antics had convinced her that she was Kirsch rather than Callis. There was a little glee with the way she lead Kirsh away, promising to show him a few things.

"And fine, Callis." Laura's voice was flat. "Could the rest of you give us some space please?"
