Laura darted to the fridge. "Milk's the best thing for capascin." She grabbed a bottle of milk, a cereal bowl, and a tea-towel for LaF. "Use this to wipe away the pepper spray. It neutralises it as much as anything does." Laura realised that LaF's body was doing weird things to her, but Perry was being Perry-like in the way she was caring for the hurt mad scientist in Carmilla's body.

Laura then shrugged. "I've not read the scroll yet, Carm. And you know Mattie's games better than anyone. See what you make of it?" Laura unrolled the scroll for the pair of them.
