Ella raised an eyebrow at Lara. She noticed the change of tone and let her hand slide down the outside of Lara’s thigh.
“Good or bad I can’t explain how you make me feel.” She said, also in her normal tone. Ella watched her fingers slide back up smooth skin of Lara’s thigh but then her eyes broke away to stare at hers. There was a particular look in her eyes when Ella was being open. It gave a hint of vulnerability no one got to see.
“However...” Embarrassed and suddenly thankful she wasn’t blushing on the outside, the vampire smirked. “I think I like it when you’re defiant and stubborn. Get back over my knee?”
