She circled around the back of the table where Leo had landed but ultimately moved away from the circle. That’s when Lara stepped in and Ella’s vampire hearing failed her. Tilting her head with a bewildered curiosity, her fingers came up to play with the pendant of her necklace while Lara worked her magic.
The next series of events were all a blur. Ella standing back from the ring while Fliss was nearly edging to be inside it. All the time she was cheering for her best friend and telling him he’s got this. It wasn’t until she could feel Leo’s rage that she jumped into the ring and had to pull him off of Michael whose flesh was barely clinging to the bone. Leo was covered in blood and from the elbow down his hands were claws like the ones Lara gave her earlier when she spoke to channelling the pack.
“Help me get him out?” She pleaded with big eyes up at Lara. Leo weary from being in a fighting frenzy.
