Laura's voice was pouty. "I suppose I'd better." She reached for her phone
with magic, checking the messages even while staying curled up with Ella,
snuggling in deeper, and frowning before shooting a message to Fliss and
one to LaF saying she was fine. And then another to Fliss saying she was
about to do something for Leo.
Ella would see her frown, and then collapse against her as she redirected
some of the pack's healing energy to Leo, the blood draining from her face.
