And that was the moment Mattie chose to make her appearance. "Hello
darlings. I hope I wasn't interrupting anything, little monster?" Lara
flushed and burrowed under the bedsheet.
"The board, well, four of them, decided to fire me, and I can't set foot on
Silas grounds any more. I can only be here because this is your place not
the campus. So that's why I disappeared and can't be very useful with the
board. How have you two been? And isn't it time to get up?"
