With Laura ignoring Lena’s request to talk to her alone, she walked over to the table again and shifted through some digital images. She told herself that the best way to cope with this was to not let the information sink in yet because she felt from the start that her and Kara’s friendship had been a lie.

If you want to help the people of this city, then I suggest you go out there and detain them for fair trail.” She sighed. “And Laura, the best thing you can do is get to CatCo and either put someone forward for mayor, backing what your article has written or run for mayor yourself.”
