Laura didn't even jump at the crack of lightning. "I'm fine. How's LaFontaine?" She had a pan on the stage, full of milk for the hot chocolate for the humans - and also a cup full of blood in the microwave for Carmilla on the grounds that 'Everyone likes hot chocolate' and it didn't actually taste bad even if Carmilla wouldn't have made it for herself.
"And there'd be books about what I saw?" Laura frowned. "How long had those seals been there?"
