Laura swallowed and had a sip of the hot chocolate with a tablespoon just to check it was ready. "Of course they are and you wouldn't have it any other way! And if Perry weren't researching she'd be stress-cleaning." Laura smiled. "I'm not feeling as if light's exploding out of me. Even if I have half the energy I should, so don't tire me out too much, Carm." She tasted her lips, showing Carmilla exactly what she meant by tiring her out.
"Which should have been the first thing we tried. You've not bitten me in the last couple of days." Laura smiled. "And that might tell us something?" Although she'd objected to being used as a juice box the first time being bitten by her girlfriend was something else entirely.
