The hug broke Carm’s serious face and she instantly smiled. Her hand coming up to get lost in the back of her girlfriends hair. “I’m not letting anything happen to either of us okay? We’ll figure this out.”
She tumbled Laura down to lay on the bed with her, books scattered in and between them. “After everything we’ve been through we will work this out. I promise.”
Resting her head against Laura’s, Carm gave her nose a little kiss. “Between my super strength and your heart, we have to work this out.”
