Carmilla still with blood down the sides of her mouth snapped back into reality the second Laura spoke. Her eyes narrowed at the fact her wrist at healed so fast. It did make sense considering all of Carm’s bites had healed within the space of seconds but the fact it was healing bones was something entirely different and extremely supernatural.
“This is healing. Not just normal healing but super healing. I’m guessing with a few minutes it will be like your wrist was never broken at all.” LaF turned their gaze to look at Laura’s heart but as Laura was completely naked it just looked everyone was staring at her chest. Even Callis who was using the sword to stop Krisch getting closer, was now staring too.
The silence was becoming a little awkward.
LaF continued and looked to Perry who thankfully hit the professional helpful friend zone LaF was waiting for. “As for your heart. It’s growing. I wondering if that means your powers or healing factor will get stronger. Maybe you’re now immortal or something?” LaF got excited. “What about if you’re now like Wolverine and have some SUPER healing? We can start a underground fight club!”
It was a lame attempt to make Laura laugh and sadly a part of LaF wasn’t joking. It was then Perry who rolled her eyes and stepped in front of the rest of them in an attempt block off Laura’s naked body from being checked out. “Laura, I think you should rest.”, Perry went into full mom mode. “Rest while we work out what’s going on with you.”
While this was happening and Laura’s friends were taking care of her. Carmilla slipped from the background. Her plan was to head to the roof and get a breath of fresh air. Not that she needed the air but it was an excuse to clear her head. “Way to go.” She muttered at herself and sat on the edge of the wall. Her legs dangled over the edge without the fear of falling. Of course she would head back inside but right now she needed a time out.
