Laura wasn't unhappy to put off testing; there tended to be needles involved in that. And Carmilla's kisses were delicious and shook a few cobwebs out of her mind. As did time to actually digest the food.

Carmilla thinks that going to a world where her mother is still alive would be sensible, but I think you're a library and can either tell us or send us the right place."
Where Carmilla was in the stacks a book of Darwin Awards and a book called Planning For Dummies fell on her head. Apparently the library was unimpressed with Carmilla's plans.
