For the first time since Laura woke, Carm felt relaxed. She listened to her girlfriend feeling less riddled with guilt with each passing second as she was still her and that was the most important thing. After the light kiss Carm bit playfully bit her own lip, breaking into a sly smile. “Well, I guess if you’re okay then I am.” She ignored the fact their doubles were watching them closely and kept her attention on Laura. “Okay I admit it would be good to check this place out. We’re here for a reason I’m sure.”
That’s when Ell mentioned assassins and suddenly Carmilla was back in the room. “You want to use us as assassin bait in exchange for helping us? Why do you have assassins here?” Something didn’t feel right. Carm wondered if the two of them were hiding something from her and Laura. It was a fleeting suspicion but why would assassins or even espionage teams be on the campus? This topped with the fact that students were scared enough to keep away from the two of them made her curious.
“You want to use us as bait?” Carmilla walked over and leant on the desk. Arms at the edge she looked at Elle with curiosity. “Why are students scared of us? More you then her.” Carm nodded towards Mircalla when she said her.
