Mircalla tested the hold and tried to move. Any gap of freedom and she would have taken her chance to break out of Laura’s hold. Unfortunately, she was right and Mircalla wasn’t going anywhere.
“Funny how you can be so like Ell in some ways but not in others.” She sighed, too stubborn to teleport and too full of frustration to transform. “I’m more than willing to get myself out of this. It might involve breaking a bone or two but I heal fast.”
Mircalla winced and tried to turn her wrist in an unnatural manner. “Or you could let me go?”
