She stopped them dancing only lead Laura over to the grand staircase towards the back of the hall. Everyone else continued to dance as the music played, not bothered by the fire breathes so close to where they moved. “No tricks. No ear bugs. This includes swapping yourself for Ell. I want you, alone and in return I’ll answer any questions you have.” Mircalla walked up the stairs and turned back to offer her hand. “Well…if we do much talking.” She couldn’t resist the smirk that came with that comment. “I’ll make this offer once and once only sweetheart.”

Carmilla entered the room and sat on the edge of Ell’s desk. “Laura found and entered the room first. Mircalla and I close behind. I don’t remember the door ever being locked or unlocked.” She said honestly then reached out and stopped Ell’s hand from writing any more contracts.
“I’m sure you and Mircalla would have had a field day with us.” It was strange their skin being the same temperature. Carm smiled and looked down at her feet. “I don’t think Laura is going to be able to walk tomorrow.”
