Carmilla, who had her hands pressed over her eyes laid back into the pillow trying to stop her head from spinning. “Why doesn’t anyone knock?” She said out loud but more to herself than anyone else. This was the last thing she needed to wake up to. She also wondered how long the troop had been in the room considering the fun her and Laura had last night. Did they honestly wait till she was asleep to shoot her with that dart?
Feeling the movement of Laura getting out of bed Carmilla reached out from the sheets and searched for some of their clothes on the floor. The first top she pulled fell apart in hers. Clearly that was Laura’s from the previous night. Eventually amongst the pile of books she found some clothes and while Laura and Callis spoke she kept herself covered and got dressed. Carmilla might not be one hundred person but one of them was going to pay for shooting her.
That’s when she saw how angry Laura was. Something she hadn’t fully seen yet. It was no secret Laura was more than capable of looking after herself. She didn’t need to hide behind a vampire, that comment from Callis flared Carmilla up but the way Laura was reacting kind of made her proud. “Well this should be interesting.”, She smirked, laying back down on the bed but on her front. Both hands propped her head up like she was about to watch a movie.
As soon as the fight between the broke out LaF, Carm and Perry watched as everything happened so fast. The smack of Laura hitting the wall caused Perry to flinch and cover her eyes. “I can’t watch. I can’t watch.” She muttered over and over refusing to see Laura get hurt. LaF, in between watching the fight break out was scanning their laptop for further developments on Laura’s healing factor.
Callis, “You’re defending her? I think I’m going to be sick in my mouth. Your girlfriend is a vampire Laura. You’ve come back from the dead with whoever knows what happening to you. You made LaF’s eye grow back and Carmilla is jacked up enough to break your bones. I was doing you a favour.” Ever being the woman to have an unlimited supply of weapons hidden in places that always made LaF scientifically curious, Callis pulled the tranq gun from behind her back where she kept it tucked into her belt.
“Untill we work out what’s going on with you this is for your own safety. You’ll thank me in the end.” She turned her gaze to Carmilla and pointed the gun directly at her. Carm wasn’t about to be hit by one of those darts any time soon but she was backed into a corner. With nowhere to hide that smirk of watching her love take down Callis started to fade and was replaced by a very predatory glare.
Callis smiled, not tearing her eyes from Carm. “Time to surrender Laura, it’s over.”
