Laura picked herself up with a very thin smile. "You know I've watched you spar before, Callis. And you're intensely predictable in terms of what moves and weapons you'll use. It doesn't do much good to threaten Carmilla with that without these."
Laura's hand opened, holding the clip of tranq darts that had been in the handle of Callis' tranq pistol before tossing it to the side. "Now. I believe your drawing that allows me to use any weapons. Like these." She picked up a couple of pens that Carmilla knew from experience would not easily wash off skin in the shower.
"A pen? Laura, even by your standards that's ridiculous." Callis did however take her eyes off Carmilla just in time to see Laura cartwheel into her and the pair of them go down in a tangle of limbs, Laura seemingly attempting a scissors hold on Callis.
A couple of seconds later Laura was thrown off hard again and Callis climbed to her feet, reaching them before Laura. "Your grappling game is weak, Laura. It's time we finished this."
Then the half-dazed Kirsch spoke. "Laura? Why did you write 'Fights like a zeta' on her forehead? What's wrong with fighting like a Zeta?"
